Brandon Heath ("Jesus in Disguise", "Give Me Your Eyes") is among a group of Christian artists that has stepped forward to create a unique tour of songs, stories, and prayer - designed to help the defenseless.

The Art Music Justice Tour will set out to bring attention to the issue of human trafficking and at the same time, shed a particular light on how God is bringing about deliverance from this scourge and changing lives.  Appearing with Heath are Sara Groves and folk-duo Jenny & Tyler.

Sara Groves, one of the headlining artists on the tour, has been so moved to stop human trafficking that she recently said this about the tour:

A decade or more ago I was in a faith crisis. I couldn't reconcile what I believed with what I saw in the world... It was stories from IJM that revived my faith. People, all people, are of infinite value. God's heart bends low to comfort the oppressed. For reasons beyond my understanding, God has given us the 'dignity of causality'. Somehow, our prayers are needed, and we are invited to participate in his redemptive process for and with each other...and our motive? LOVE, agape, true, other, not-of-this-world LOVE! I have seen it, and it is real and life-changing. Don't come to the Art Music Justice tour to hear a lecture about modern day slavery, or hypothetical ideas about justice. Come to hear the GOOD NEWS... God is working in and through [the Church]. Come to hear amazing stories of resilience and miraculous redemption.....Come, be encouraged...

“Human trafficking is coming to the forefront of America’s consciousness,” said Brandon Heath.  “If we can use our talents and our voices we can inspire people to awareness and action.  Nobody is more effective than IJM in the fight against slavery.”

Benefiting International Justice Mission, the tour will begin mid April 2016 and continue through late May.  To find out more about the tour and performance cities and dates, go to http://www.artmusicjusticetour.com/
