Time has flown for worship artist Kari Jobe.  The artist has performed all over the world; leading countless thousands in worship.  She has been nominated for a GRAMMY®, won multiple Dove Awards, has a RIAA Gold Certified single, and been praised by the New York Times.  It all started 20 years ago, with her singing "Revelation Song".  Almost on a whim, Jobe was asked to record the song, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Kari Jobe's passionate treatment of "Revelation Song" made the anthem standard worship repertoire in churches around the world.  Likewise, it catapulted Jobe to the international spotlight of renowned worship artists.

That was 20 years ago.  To celebrate the anniversary of this historic event, Jobe performed "Revelation Song" at Carnegie Hall with full choir and orchestra.  With the help of arranger/orchestrator Bernie Herms, "Revelation Song" took on a larger identity for the Carnegie audience.

20 years ago this month I was a student at Christ For The Nations Bible school," reflected Jobe on her Instagram. "The day before the live recording my leaders asked me if I would want to record a song that they felt would be something they could hear me carrying. I said yes and that next day I recorded Revelation Song for the first time. Those two leaders were Klaus Kuehn and Walker Beach. I asked them if they would come accompany me and help me lead this special song 20 years later at Carnegie Hall. It’s so beautiful to me how the Lord brings people into our lives to see calling and to call it out, champion it, help to direct and value it. These 2 friends have continued to do this over these 20 years and I’m very, very grateful. It was an honor to lead this moment with both of you by my side. Cody and I love you guys!

Here's a taste of the performance:
